How To Place An Order

Below are the steps to use to place an order:

1. If you are a new customer, click on the blue "Register" tab at the top of the page and follow the instructions to register your information.
2. Browse through the store and find the item(s) you would like to purchase and click on "add to my shopping cart".
3. Once you have finished shopping, click the "checkout" button on the View Your Cart screen.                 NOTE:  If you have a coupon or gift certificate code, please enter it at this time and then click on the "apply discount" button before clicking the "checkout" button.
4. Validate the pre-populated information is correct on the shipping screen.  Click "Continue".
5. Choose your shipping and payment method by using the drop down screens provided.  Click "Continue".
6. Confirm and pay for your order.
7. Send Payment- if you choose to send payment, you will be directed to an order confirmation screen.  This is your confirmation that your order has been received by A&K Hobby and we are awaiting your payment.  Print this page and mail it in with your payment to the address provided. Payment must be received within 10 days of the order being placed or your order will be cancelled and the items returned back to inventory. Please Note: There is a $29.00 charge for a returned check. 
8. Paypal or Credit Card- If you have chosen this payment option, you will be re-directed to Paypal's secure server. From here, you have the option to use your credit card or use an existing payment account to input your electronic checking or credit card information.  If you have a Paypal account, enter your email address and password to complete the payment details.   If you do not have a Paypal account, click on the "Click Here" button in the center of the page and follow the instructions to sign up for a free account. You may enter your credit card information without signing up for a paypal account. Please remember to return the the A&K website after making payment to complete the final step in the ordering process.
9. You have now completed your order.
10. To track the status of your order, go to the A&K Hobby home page and click on the "track order" button.
11. Once you have finished viewing the website, click on the "My Account" button and then click on the "logout" hyperlink.
12. If you would like to view the shipping charges before making your purchase, please click on the Calculate Shipping link, located on the left hand side of the page in our Information Menu.

Useful information: Once you apply for a Paypal account, you can use this account not only to purchase items from this website, and many other websites; but you can also use your account to make payment on online auction items, online bill paying, and many other useful online transactions. Paypal has become the world's largest online transaction network in the world.
