Q. What credit cards do you accept?

We currently accept Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and electronic checks.

Q. Is it safe to pay for my order by using my credit card?

Yes.  Your information is safe because we use a service that is the leading payment network for online purchases.

Q. Why do you use Paypal?

The security of your information, transactions, and money is the core of their business and our top priority at PayPal. PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to theirs using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available). Before you even register or log in to their site, their server checks that you're using an approved browser - one that uses SSL 3.0 or higher. Once your information reaches them, it resides on a server that is heavily guarded both physically and electronically. Their servers sit behind an electronic firewall and are not directly connected to the Internet, so your private information is available only to authorized computers.

Q. What does it mean that A&K Hobby is "Verified"?

Becoming Verified means that we have maintained a confirmed bank account with Paypal.  Because banks are required by law to screen account holders, Verification authenticates a member's identity and increases the security of the Paypal network for everyone.

Q. Can I still order if I don't want to use a credit card?

Yes, you may place your order and send payment via check, cashier's check or money order.  However, you will need to allow 10 days for a personal check to clear unless you use Paypal.

Q. If I pay for my order with a check or money order, are there any special instructions I need to follow?

Yes.  If you pay for your order with a check, please print a copy of your order and place it in the envelope with your payment.  This will ensure that the proper order is fulfilled once the payment is received.

Q. How will I know what is happening with my order?

On our website, we offer and "order tracking" feature that allows you to track and follow the processing of your order.  Just click on the "track order" button and follow the instructions.

Q. Can I have my order shipped C.O.D.?

No, sorry at this time we do not ship any orders COD.
